Terms and Conditions

Sew It Jenny Workshops – Terms and Conditions.

By sending payment to Jenny, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

Sewing Space

  • The sewing room is located on the first floor of Jenny’s home. If you have any accessible needs, please contact Jenny before booking a class to discuss.

  • Toilets are available downstairs and upstairs at the property.

  • The sewing space is located at a home address which is also home to a small dog called Moss. He will bark on your arrival; however, he is very friendly. He will be kept out of the sewing room during the class. Please contact Jenny if you have any issues with a dog – with notice, daycare may be sorted.

  • For longer classes, the kitchen and dining room space will be available for lunchtime break. All students have access to a tea and coffee station in the sewing room during classes.

  • Directions to the class location will be provided after booking confirmation. It is accessed via a shared driveway in Romsey.

  • There is parking for 2-3 vehicles at the property. You will have to reverse out of the property when you leave. Alternatively, there is street parking available within a one minute walk to Jenny's house.

  • There is secure parking for bicycles and cargo bikes. A 5% discount on a class is available to those who walk, cycle or use public transport to the studio – please let Jenny know before paying for your class. This cannot be used with any other discount available.

  • Please be aware, there is a loose gravel surface to reach the property.

Class Materials and Tools

  • The sewing space is set up with basic sewing tools to support you. You are responsible for the safe use of the equipment. If in doubt, please ask for help.

  • Students will be provided a list of items to bring for their specific classes eg fabric, thread and patterns. Please feel free to bring any favourite tools you like to use when sewing at home.

  • All students are expected to bring their own sewing machine, unless the class advertises otherwise.

  • Jenny has one spare sewing machine available for students; Pfaff Ambition 620. This can be requested at time of booking and will be reserved on a first-come first-serve basis.

  • All students should bring their own sewing machine in good working order. If in doubt, please get your machine serviced ahead of the class.

  • Jenny has the right to refuse any sewing machine to be used in the sewing room if it is unsafe to use or unfit for purpose.

  • Please follow all safety advice provided. If in doubt, please ask for help.
